Khmer Rouge led by Pol Pot occupied Phnom Penh in April 1975.

Most of them were young boys and wore service uniforms of Vietnam style with sober and sincere appearances. Citizens full of the urban district of Phnom Penh welcomed them ardently. They thought that the civil war ended and Cambodia would become peaceful.
