The official name of Mexico is LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS/UNITED MEXICAN STATES and it is originated in the Aztec, god of war, Mexictli.

Mexico adjoins the USA along 3,200km of borderline to the north, Guatemala and Belice to the south, the Pacific to the west and Mexico Bay to the east. The California Peninsula is projected extends 1,200 km long in parallel with the northwest Pacific coast and the Yucatan Peninsula extends toward the north in the southeast Atlantic coast dividing Mexico Bay and the Caribbean. Mexico has 1,958,201 §´ of area, which is nine times as large as the Korean Peninsula. Mexico is the third in area following Brazil and Argentina among countries in Latin America and the 12th in the world.
