The objective of the European Communities is the respect for the political human rights.
This aim reached to an intention for security of the cultural and social Human Rights, so it is clear that the basic goal of the institution lay at the policies of human rights. To support this goal, the Committee for Economic Society agreed in the declaration presented on 10 December in 1980 that the European Communities joined the European Convention on Human rights.
